More space on the web!
Anyone who knows me knows I have a bit of weakness when it comes to blogging! So given how familiar I was already with this media I thought it would be useful to have some overflow space to post mainly photos to as the Caringbridge site we have set up is fairly limited in that area. When I do a post in Caringbridge I will likely add a link to whatever I have added here so that you can be in the loop!
Glen has just purchased a model helicopter to start building and painting so as yet the ship in a bottle is on hold. He goes to 'creative therapy' every Friday so is planning on using that time to pursue making some of the things that take his fancy! For me it means I can drop him off and have some me time, something that is short in supply of late, so very welcome! We have also had a visit from one of the very nice hospice volunteers who is going to plan weekly excursions with Glen, which should be good fun for him. And it means I can hopefully pick up some of that uni work that got dumped in a hurry!!!! His bloods are again good this week and he is still doing really well. Physio sessions 3 times a week are going great too.
Anyway here are a few photos from recent weeks.....Glen's first 'overnight' from hospitalKyle looks after Glen and the kids while I go shopping!!!!
And even stretches to a bedtime story!!!!:)We had a lovely few nights up at Nicki and Ian's, got well looked after, this time Ian looked after Glen and the kids while Nicki and I went shopping!!!! Rex did his best to keep Sam, Sarah and Carys in line too!!!!
Rex recently performed in his drama class's 30 minute version of Macbeth and we also watched Carys do her thing with the kids at her daycare who put on a wee show for the parents to celebrate Matariki.
